Number of participants: Each tournament will be limited to 75 entrants. However a entrant may consist of either two man teams or individuals, so in theory a full field could range from 75 to 150 anglers. Entries received after the field is full will be placed on a waiting list.
Cutoff for registration will be four days prior to the tournament. After that date, entries will only be accepted at the registration meeting the day before the tournament.
A rules / registration meeting will be held the day prior to the tournament at a local location. All individuals and at least one team member must attend. Registration will begin at 4:30pm and end at 5:30pm. The rules meeting will begin promptly at 5:30pm.
Entry Fees: This information will be updated soon.
Wining weights will be based on the total weight of no more than twelve combined species of panfish (perch, crappies, sunfish) including the "Big Fish". Total limit that may be weighed is twelve fish. Ties will determined by the weight of the largest fish.
Payouts will be based on number of entrants, a smaller field equals a smaller payout, based on a predetermined percentage. Generally, payouts will be made to 13.5% of the field, adjusted as need be. 20 entrants would pay to the top 3, sixty entrants would pay to the top 8, etc.
The optional entry fee for "Big Fish" is $20.00 per entrant, with %100 payout. With a full field, the payout would be $1500.00. Ties will result in a split of the payout. Each entrant may choose one fish out of their limit to be weighed as the big fish. Winner will be based on the weight of that one fish.
There will be official observers located across the lake, and at the launch / weigh in station. They will be easily identifiable by the bright safety vests they wear. They will assist with parking, security, making sure the rules are followed, along with other tasks. They are here to help things go smoothly, please respect them.
Parking: There will be times when parking will be limited, at some times it may be necessary to double park entrants. Please be patient with us in this area, an observer will be available to help with parking. Please do not park in restricted areas.
